The wood shop now offers a safety and equipment qualification class for new patrons. The class must be taken before any beginner- or intermediate-level classes and costs $15. Students can save $10 on the safety class when signing up for both the safety class and a beginner or intermediate woodworking class. The next safety class will be held on Oct. 1 and 2.
